Kids Update

Carlitos is playing soccer this year and Carlos is the unofficial assistant coach. The season is almost over. Carlitos is loving it. Alicia has been doing Awana's and Girl Scouts, but the cheerleading costs $300 plus per kid and we just couldn't afford that this year. Robin is doing her thing. Growing, laughing, talking, running, falling, playing....

Congratulations on your graduation from UW Mom!!

Hot Summer Nights...

Well it has been a while. We just moved into a rental house in the town of Tenino. It is soooo much better than the nasty Meadows Townhomes we lived in before. It is August now and almost time for school to start. I can't believe that Alicia is in 5th grade and Carlitos in 3rd. I remember his first day of kindergarten!! We are going on our fourth year with them and they are really thriving in Tenino. Robin is in her terrible 18 months phase...I think she is just early for the terrible twos. In a few years she will be in school, too! August 16th I go to orientation for my next phase of school. Hopefully, I will graduate in two years and then be a librarian at a library near you!!! Carlos is working hard, as he always does. He will be going overseas for a year in a few weeks. We will be able to pay off our debt and buy a house when he gets home. We will feel like we are getting back on track. We had our house and new cars and everything we wanted in Naples, FL. When we decided to move back here we had to start at the bottom again. With three kids it is hard to get ahead. I will be staying on two days a week at Old Navy. I will make a few bucks and keep my discount. I always buy my clothes and the kids clothes there. So it will help us save some money right there!

Merry Christmas to all....

It has been a super busy year for us. January 2007 we could have never expected so much to happen in the coming year. In February Robin was born. The next month we were packing our life and moving back to Washington from Florida. In April we had a place to live and Carlos had a job driving a semi across the country. We finally got to meet my niece Willow when my brother and his family moved back to Washington. Alicia, Carlitos and I walked in the CF walk on Team Willow and had a great time. I had to have my gallbladder removed in September. I also went back to school at UW in Seattle the same month! We had a delicious Thanksgiving feast at home. The kids all saw their first snow and we cut down our own Christmas tree at a snow covered tree farm. I can't wait to see what 2008 has in store for us!!!
